Bio

Mark DiMarzio, vice president, is a commercial lender in Heartland Bank's south-central region. He has over 40 years of banking experience, having served as a board member for the Illinois Bankers Association, instructor for the IBA School of Banking and chairperson of the board for the IBA School of Consumer Lending.

Mark received a bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Active in the community, he has coached youth sports teams and is a member of the American Business Club of Springfield. He has served as trustee for two different churches, as chairperson and president of the Greater Jefferson County United Way and as board member for the Southern Region United Way advisory committee. Mark is also a past Distinguished Lieutenant Governor with Optimist International.

Originally from Paris, Illinois, Mark makes his home in Springfield. In his spare time, Mark officiates high school basketball and football having officiated multiple IHSA State Finals during his career.
