Karla Koehler, Vice President / Commercial Lender, has been helping farmers with their operating needs, equipment purchases and farmland acquisitions for the past 30 years and is proud to have helped many young farmers obtain Farm Service Agency Guaranteed Loans and Iowa Finance Authority Beginning Farmer Loans. Having grown up on a crop and livestock farm in Eastern Iowa, Karla enjoys living and working in a rural community and discussing the latest trends in agriculture.
Karla earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University in Agricultural Business with a finance emphasis. She and her husband, a fellow ISU graduate, enjoy attending football and basketball games with their family in Ames.
Karla is active in the community, serving as a member of the Jones County Medical Services Advisory Council, leader of the Prairie Hill 4-H Club, member of the Jones County Dairy Promotion Committee, and Treasurer of SS Peter & Paul Lutheran Church. She was recognized by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Main Street Iowa for her dedication to enhancing the economic development of Central City, Iowa with their Leadership Award.
