Illinois Bankers Association Welcomes Deanne Conterio of Heartland Bank to Future Leaders Alliance Board

The Illinois Bankers Association (IBA) has announced that Deanne Conterio has been elected to the Illinois Bankers Association Future Leaders Alliance Board. The election was held June 23 during the organization’s annual conference.

The members of the IBA’s Future Leaders Alliance transform talented employees, new or seasoned, by cultivating the next generation of bank leaders. Conterio was elected to serve on the Future Leaders Alliance Board, joining bankers from across the state to advocate for the banking community, further the mission of the IBA, and build a brighter future for all bankers.

"I am honored to have been elected to the IBA’s Illinois Bankers Association Future Leaders Alliance Board. It is a privilege to serve alongside my colleagues in the industry and to be a voice for Illinois bankers,” said Conterio. “I look forward to bringing my experience and perspective to the board and working collaboratively to ensure the IBA is serving our members to the best of our abilities.”

Deanne Conterio serves as senior vice president - retail banking director at Heartland Bank and Trust Company. Having advanced her banking career through several retail banking roles, she oversees retail customer-facing and operations teams to help every customer with financial solutions to fit their needs.

Conterio has over 28 years’ experience in banking. She is a member of the Illinois Bankers Association, on the Grundy Country Chamber Scholarship Committee and the Economic Development Council Finance Committee. Deanne makes her home in Minooka with her family.
