Jennifer F. Stice, CTFA®, QKA®, MBA

Bio

Jennifer Stice, vice president, wealth advisor and team leader for Heartland Bank and Trust Company’s southern region, joined the bank in 2007, and has more than 20 years of wealth management experience. Jennifer serves as a primary relationship manager, delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions designed to address clients’ complex goals and specific financial needs.

Jennifer graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and attained her MBA from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She obtained the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA®) designation in 2010 and the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA®) designation in 2014.

Jennifer resides in Ashland with her husband, Brach, and their three children. Jennifer is a past chair and board member for Girls on the Run of Central Illinois and the Lincoln Land Community College Foundation. In her spare time, Jennifer is usually found at a sporting event cheering on her kids.

Mark DiMarzio

Bio

Mark DiMarzio, vice president, is a commercial lender in Heartland Bank’s south-central region. He has over 40 years of banking experience, having served as a board member for the Illinois Bankers Association, instructor for the IBA School of Banking and chairperson of the board for the IBA School of Consumer Lending.

Mark received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Active in the community, he has coached youth sports teams and is a member of the American Business Club of Springfield. He has served as trustee for two different churches, as chairperson and president of the Greater Jefferson County United Way and as board member for the Southern Region United Way advisory committee. Mark is also a past Distinguished Lieutenant Governor with Optimist International.

Originally from Paris, Illinois, Mark makes his home in Springfield. In his spare time, Mark officiates high school basketball and football having officiated multiple IHSA State Finals during his career.

Grant Franklin

Bio

Grant Franklin is a dedicated senior lender for the Springfield area who enjoys collaborating with business owners to help them grow and improve their operations through innovative banking solutions. Grant began his career over 40 years ago with Town and Country Bank, now Heartland Bank, but later left to work for regional banks in Southern Illinois, Central Illinois, and Indiana. He returned to Town and Country Bank in 2008.

Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in business administration, with a specialization in financial institution management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Additionally, he holds a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders. This designation is for professionals who work in the affordable housing industry through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

Grant is active in the community having served on numerous committees and boards. He is currently involved with the Springfield YMCA Board of Directors and Finance Committee and the Illinois Housing Council Membership and Events Committee. A resident of the Springfield area, Grant enjoys spending time with his family.

John Saxbery

Stephanie Verardi

Bio

Stephanie Verardi, a mortgage banker for Springfield’s many communities, began her banking career 38 years ago, joining Heartland Bank in 2023 from Town and Country Bank. Her primary focus has been the financing of real estate properties, whether it is the purchase of a home or refinancing to live a better life. Stephanie works closely with customers to build long-term relationships by understanding their business and proposing solutions tailored to their individual needs. She believes longevity in any job is hard to attain unless you feel you are helping people, and that is what she loves about her job.

Stephanie earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University where she majored in finance and minored in economics. Stephanie is the treasurer for both the Catholic Daughters of America and for the St. Mary Church Fall Festival. She is also active with St. Mary’s Church and Hope House of Central Illinois.

Along with her three grown children, and seven grandchildren, Stephanie resides in Taylorville, Illinois.  In her free time, Stephanie enjoys Sprint Car Racing.
