About Robyn
Alde earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance with a minor in social entrepreneurship from Northern Illinois University and an Associate in Science degree from Kishwaukee Community College. While at Northern Illinois, she completed coursework in microfinance and participated in a two-week internship and a five-day global engagement trip to Bucerias, Mexico, where she worked with local vendors and small-business owners. There, she saw firsthand how even modest loans can help small businesses grow and thrive, inspiring her passion for lending and community banking.

She is very family-oriented and spends much of her free time with her parents, siblings and grandparents, all of whom live within a few miles of each other. Active in youth sports, she has recently coached fifth- and sixth-grade boys’ basketball. Her hobbies include, quilting, sewing and crocheting, camping and hiking, as well spending time outdoors.
Her promotion underscores Heartland Bank and Trust Company’s commitment to investing in local leadership and providing personalized financial services to the communities it serves.
