Heartland Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Evan Fairfield to assistant vice president and commercial lender. Fairfield is based at the Western Springs branch, serving clients across the Chicago metropolitan area.
In his role, Fairfield works with business and real estate professionals to support financing needs and guide transactions from start to finish. He values building strong relationships, problem-solving and seeing deals succeed while helping shape Chicago’s real estate market.
Prior to his promotion, Fairfield spent five years with Heartland Bank as a credit analyst and portfolio manager.

Fairfield is a member of Chicago NBOA Young Real Estate Professionals and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics. Born and raised in central Illinois, he attended Dunlap High School and currently resides in La Grange, Illinois. Outside of work, Fairfield enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, golfing, hunting, watching sports and exploring new restaurants in Chicago.
