Bio

Marty Orris, Assistant Vice President and Wealth Advisor, brings more than 18 years of wealth management and foundation management experience to Heartland Bank clients. Marty especially enjoys helping families consolidate and manage their financial resources to fund lifetime needs, charitable gifting, and transfer of wealth to future generations.

Marty earned her MBA, as well as undergraduate degrees in Agricultural Journalism and Agricultural Economics, from the University of Missouri. She is an alumna of the Illinois Agriculture Leadership Program Class of 2002. Marty graduated from Cannon Financial Institute schools to become a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) in 2016, and an Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM®) in 2017. She also holds a certificate in Behavioral Finance.

Marty currently serves on the governing board of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and is a past president of the Bloomington and Lincoln Rotary Clubs. Her 24 years of volunteerism in Logan County impacted youth, faith, business, and tourism endeavors.

Marty and her husband, Jason, now live in rural Mackinaw and are the parents of 4 children, ages 10 – 24. When not watching their athletic events from the sidelines, Marty enjoys working in her woodland gardens and exploring new corners of the world.
