Rachel Waca, portfolio manager, joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company in 2025 and has 27 years of experience in the banking industry. With more than two decades of experience as a credit analyst, Rachel brings a strong background in credit analysis and portfolio management to her role.

Rachel is passionate about learning each customer’s story and understanding their goals. She believes every situation is unique and takes pride in tailoring portfolio solutions to help customers move confidently toward their financial objectives. Her approach centers on building relationships, listening carefully and designing strategies that align with each customer’s needs.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. She lives in Princeton with her husband, Eric, and their three children, Avery, Alexandra and Brecken. Outside of work, she enjoys running and cheering on her children at their various sporting events.
