Bio

Patrick V. Masso, CFA®, CFP®, TPCP®, senior vice president and financial planning and portfolio management director in the Wealth Management division, joined the team in October 2016. He is responsible for designing and overseeing the financial planning and portfolio management process, with direct accountability for more than $1.5 billion in investments.

Masso is passionate about financial planning and meets with clients to develop personalized financial strategies to help achieve their goals. He spearheads the investment research effort, constructs strategic and tactical asset allocation model portfolios, and manages the large-cap U.S. individual stock portfolio. He also produces financial planning, economic and investment publications and delivers presentations.

A Peoria native, Masso holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Bradley University, where he finished first in his class. He received the 2011 Outstanding Finance Graduate Award and the 2011 Foster College of Business Administration Robert J. Saner Award in Business Administration.

Masso served as a board member of the Better Business Bureau of Central Illinois from 2015–2018. Patrick was awarded the CFA charter in 2016. He obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ certification in 2023 and the Tax Planning Certified Professional® (TPCP) designation in 2025.

Masso and his wife, Caroline, reside in Dunlap, Illinois, and are parents to three sons and one daughter. In his free time, Patrick enjoys being present in the moment with his children and facilitating exploration of their endless curiosities.
