About Miranda

Bio

Miranda Johns-Cummings, vice president, fiduciary advisor and internal legal counsel, joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company in September 2022. Before joining Heartland, she served as a private client advisor and institutional relationship manager for Commerce Trust Company. Miranda worked in estate and trust administration for over 15 years before moving to Illinois where she currently serves as relationship manager on client accounts, provides counsel on fiduciary matters and serves as the lead advisor on estate settlements.

Miranda is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, earning her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She joined the Illinois State Bar in 2023.

Miranda is a resident of Normal with husband, George, and their child. She active in the community, serving as treasurer of the Normal Rotary Foundation. She is also a member of the Normal Rotary Club and McLean County Bar Association.
