About Mike
Mike LaTempt serves at Heartland Bank’s Jerseyville and Carrollton branches, bringing a strong background in finance and a customer-focused approach to his role. He earned his degree in business administration, with a specialization in finance and economics, from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. LaTempt is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking, where he completed the program with high honors. He also holds a certificate of executive leadership from the University of Wisconsin.
Throughout his career, LaTempt has built lasting relationships with his customers by taking the time to understand their goals and operations. His approachable style and dedication to partnership help clients achieve success tailored to their unique needs.
“I’ve had the opportunity to get to know a lot of people and learn about their operations. I enjoy building those relationships, learning what makes each customer unique, and then partnering with them to achieve their goals,” LaTempt said.
Outside of work, LaTempt enjoys spending time with family, golfing, fishing, and cheering on the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals.
