About Michael
Michael Oeser, WMCP®, wealth advisor, joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company’s Wealth Management team with the completion of a merger in 2026, bringing a decade of experience in the financial services industry. During this time, he has developed his ability to discern and address the needs of both individual and institutional clients.
In his role at Heartland Bank, Oeser works with current and prospective clients to help define their wealth management needs and planning priorities and provide solutions designed to meet those objectives. He shares his knowledge and guidance as he grows his long-standing list of client relationships throughout central Illinois.

Oeser has earned his Wealth Management Certified Professional designation through the American College of Financial Services.
Having grown up in southern California before moving to Brown County, Illinois, in 1995, Oeser now lives with his wife and two sons in Chatham. They are members of Lake Side Christian Church in Springfield.
