Bio

Marty Orris, vice president and senior wealth advisor, joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company in 2014 and has more than 20 years of industry experience to her clients. Her previous professional experience includes agriculture sales and health care fundraising, but what Marty especially enjoys is helping families and individuals consolidate and manage their financial resources to fund lifetime needs, charitable gifting and transfer of wealth to successor generations.

Marty earned a B.S. in agricultural journalism and agricultural economics, and an MBA from the University of Missouri. She is an alumna of the Illinois Agriculture Leadership Program (IALF) and the Cannon Financial Institute. Additionally, she holds Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA^©) and Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM^©) designations, and a certificate in Behavioral Finance. Marty has served as a former president of the Bloomington and Lincoln Rotary Clubs and has served in numerous volunteer capacities on school boards, 4-H, and economic development and tourism endeavors in Logan County.

Marty and her husband, Jason, live in rural Tazewell County and are the parents of four children. When not cheering them on in various soccer, band and dance competitions, Marty enjoys time in the outdoors and exploring new corners of the world. She is an avid woodland gardener and takes her Irish Wolfhound, Finnigan, on daily long walks.
