Bio

Kim L. Larson, senior vice president and wealth management director, has led the Heartland Bank Wealth Management Division that includes Asset Management and Trust Services, Agricultural Services and HBT Investment Services, since 2012. Kim has over 30 years of banking and wealth management experience that includes senior management positions at community, regional and money-center banks.

Kim holds an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, a B.S. in Business Administration (finance) from San Francisco State University and a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kim is very active in the community, currently serving on the Finance and Administration Committee of the United Way of McLean County. Additionally, he is a finance committee member of the Bloomington-Normal Sunrise Rotary Club where he is a Paul Harris fellow. He also serves on the Athletic Board of The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Marberry Fund Advisory Board at the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa.

Kim and fiancée, Ruthann, together have six children and five grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, attending sporting events, engaging in family activities and completing home projects.
