Craig Frankford

Craig Frankford serves at Heartland Bank’s Carlinville branch, bringing both financial expertise and firsthand agricultural experience to his role. He earned his degree in agribusiness economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and is a fourth-generation farmer in the Carlinville area, where his family raises corn, soybeans and cattle. Frankford finds great joy in working alongside his family and seeing the fifth generation become involved in the operation.

Deeply rooted in his community, Frankford and his family are active members of Charity Baptist Church in rural Carlinville. His agricultural background gives him a unique perspective when serving his customers, especially local farmers.

“I truly enjoy working with my fellow farmers to help them expand their operations. Many pieces of ag real estate will only come up for sale once in a lifetime, and when I can help a farmer buy that property it is very rewarding to me. My relationship with my farm customers is unique because we are all experiencing the same things in the ag economy, which helps me to serve them better because I know firsthand what issues they are dealing with,” Frankford said.

Outside of work, Frankford values faith, family and farming — in that order.
