About Connor
Connor Walker, farm manager, manages more than 15,000 acres across more than 80 farms, working with landowners and families to support the long-term success of their operations. He values the personal, rewarding nature of the role and enjoys helping families continue a legacy that may span generations.
Walker has served as a farm manager for more than three years, helping clients improve their farms in all facets of his work and navigate challenges to meet their objectives. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He is pursuing the Accredited Farm Manager designation and a real estate brokerage license, and he is a Federal Aviation Administration-licensed drone pilot.
In the community, Walker volunteers with Carlinville Boy Scout Troop 62 and serves as treasurer of the Carlinville FFA Alumni. He is a member of the Macoupin County Farm Bureau, the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He lives in Carlinville with his wife and enjoys hunting on his family’s farm, riding motorcycles and camping.
