New Woodlawn Branch in Lincoln

Construction of our new building on Woodlawn Road in Lincoln is progressing on schedule. Heartland Bank employees are pleased with the development, anticipating a positive impact on customer experience. The building remains on track for a fall 2025 opening.

The decision to build the new facility came after careful consideration of the bank’s ongoing commitment to the Lincoln community and the need for a more efficient, accessible space. The current building, which has served the area since 1979, will be replaced by a full-service branch designed to meet the growing needs of our local customers.

Construction work begins the week of January 13, 2025.

While subject to change, we currently expect a Fall 2025 opening.

The current branch lobby, drive-up lanes, and ATM will remain open during construction to serve customers; however, some minor rerouting of the entrance to the drive-up lanes will be needed. Temporary barriers and construction fencing will be put up to help direct traffic and keep the worksite secure.

The new building will replace the current structure that was built in 1979. Investing in two new branches to welcome our strong Lincoln customer base is a testament to our commitment to this community!

Yes, the new branch building will reopen as a full-service facility. We will coordinate the move of the existing safe deposit boxes from our current Woodlawn branch to the new building upon its completion. We will reach out to our customers with safe deposit boxes as the new building completion nears.

In the next few weeks, we will send a communication to all Lincoln customers explaining the upcoming changes for the Woodlawn office. We will also issue a press release for the general public.
