Dave Hurley

David Hurley serves as senior market lender for Heartland Bank branches, including Carlinville, Hillsboro, Litchfield, Virden and Taylorville. Based at the Carlinville branch, he provides leadership and oversight while supporting both customers and staff across the region.

Hurley earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Western Illinois University and served eight years in the Illinois Army National Guard. In his role, he focuses on building strong relationships, guiding branch teams and ensuring customers receive consistent, dependable service. His approach is centered on accessibility, collaboration and a commitment to meeting the needs of the communities the bank serves.

Outside the office, Hurley is active in the United Methodist Church. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and playing tennis and pickleball, which he values as an important part of maintaining balance and connection outside of work.
