Carl Goebel serves as a commercial lender at Heartland Bank’s Taylorville branch, bringing a strong background in agriculture and business. He is a graduate of Illinois State University, where he earned a degree in agricultural business, providing a solid foundation for his work with agricultural and commercial customers.

In his role at Heartland Bank, Goebel works closely with farmers and business owners to understand their operations and financial needs. He focuses on building long-term relationships and providing practical financing solutions that support growth, stability and long-term success. Goebel is committed to serving the local Taylorville community.

Goebel is actively involved in the community through Kiwanis, the Knights of Columbus and the Christian County Farm Bureau, where he currently serves as vice chair for Young Ag Leaders. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, hunting and reading.
