Mortgage Application Checklist

We have a variety of financing options to make your dream a reality.

Enjoy a smoother mortgage process by having the right paperwork ready!  Below is a checklist of important documents we’ll need from you and any co-borrowers if you are prequalified and want to get started with an application. We may need additional documents later in the process, if so we’ll let you know!


Necessary Documents:

  • A copy of the Purchase Agreement and all applicable disclosures.
  • Last 30 days of paystubs showing year-to-date earnings.
  • Last two W-2 forms.
    W-2 forms are provided annually by your employer for tax purposes. A copy of your W-2 forms should be attached to previous tax returns.
  • Last two tax returns.
    Complete personal federal income tax returns must be signed and include all schedules, such as K1 forms, 1099 forms, etc.
  • Last two months of complete bank statements for all financial accounts.
    Complete bank statements including ALL pages, even blank ones. You will need to provide a letter explaining any non-automatic deposits or withdrawals.
     

If you are self-employed:

  • Last two years of complete business tax returns, including K1 forms.
  • All documents listed above.


If you are retired:

  • 1099 forms for retirement/pension income.
  • Last two months of bank statements showing ALL retirement/pension income deposited into the account(s).
  • All documents listed above.
