Val Medina Returns to Heartland Bank as Mortgage Banker to Serve Local Customers

About Val

In her new role, Val serves in several suburban communities and is based at the bank’s 4456 Wolf Road location in Western Springs. She is responsible for assisting customers with residential lending needs including new home mortgages, mortgage refinancing, and second mortgages. Val was a Retail Manager for the bank’s Western Springs branch and brings several years of experience in the banking and financial services industry back to Heartland Bank.

Immersed in the community, Val lives in the Forest Hills area of Western Springs with husband Dave and dogs Mocha and Annie. A resident of Western Springs for 12 years, she also lived in LaGrange for ten years. She plans to become involved with the Western Springs Business Association soon and enjoys volunteering at the Gathering on the Green event. Previously, she has been involved with the Addison Chamber of Commerce, Meals on Wheels, and Junior Achievement for the Addison School District. She enjoys golf, yoga, and gardening.
