Search for Current Openings

Our careers site allows you to search for current job openings by keyword or location.  Or simply click the Search button to see all of our current job openings.

Submit your Application

Once you find a job opportunity that interests you, select the Apply for this Position button and complete the application. Applications are only accepted online.

After your initial submission, your application will be saved and you will be able to login as a Returning Applicant.

Note: It is important that you register with a valid e-mail address as most correspondence from Heartland Bank will be sent to you via e-mail.

Application Evaluation

The Human Resources department evaluates all incoming applications against prerequisite abilities and skills set for all current openings.

Phone Screening

A representative from HR will directly contact the most qualified candidates to complete an initial phone screening.  Qualified candidates will be submitted for a credit check, and for certain positions, some applicants may be asked to complete online pre-employment assessments.

Interview

The top candidates will be referred to the hiring manager, and may be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview.

Job Offer

Once a job offer is made and accepted, the selected candidate is required to submit to a background check.

Offer Accepted

If the background check results are acceptable, the hiring manager will contact you to set up a mutually agreeable start date and you will begin your formal employee enrollment.
